Exciting leadership position in Healthcare Finance – Manage large Revenue Cycles for one of the largest Hospital systems in California and take a Lead in Business Transformation. 


About the Position 

   

We are looking for an experienced healthcare Finance Professional for a Leadership Role in Revenue Cycles . Please see mandatory qualifications prior to applying.

QUALIFICATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE POSITION OF

REVENUE CYCLE DIRECTOR 

  

Location : California 

Type : Full time Permanent Hire

Salary - $204,192 – $262,023 Annually (D.O.E) + Excellent Benefits

Job Requirements:


  •  Provide Supervision on all aspects of Revenue Cycle Management  
  •  Increase Revenue Collection in line with County Goals  
  • Supervise and  lead teams that administer and co- ordinate all aspects of the revenue Cycle ( intake, patient access, charge capture, financial assistance / enrollment , cash posting/deposits and patient billing /collections) 
  • Guides and  directs,  subordinate supervisors on professional fee coding, charge description master, and charge capture functions. 
  • Leads a  cross-functional team to enhance revenue cycle operations    
  • Collaborates  with the management team to improve the reimbursement for services rendered and the profitability of product lines.  
  • Recommends  the annual Agency budget to the Organization Executive 
  • Develops for assigned areas of  responsibility, policy and procedure recommendations to meet the needs of the Health and Hospital System and its patients.
  • Develop and maintain processes and controls that are in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Optimize Cash flow and Processes.
  • Responsible for mentoring staff development and related goal setting performance standards with staff to Unit managers. 


Mandatory Qualifications


  1.  Bachelor’s degree with major in Business or Public Administration or related field.
  2.  Must have 5 years’ experience in managing patient business services department 
  3. Experience in managing large scale revenue cycles. 
  4. Experience Managing Revenue Cycles $ 300 million and above per year at some point in your career. 
  5. Dynamic leader with excellent communication and ability to lead cross functional teams.
  6. Proficiency in the use of Information Technology.
  7. Good People Management skills.
  8. Good Mentoring and People Development skills. 

  

Preferred Skills and qualifications

  

  • Certification from the Health Care Finance Management Association or Patient Accounting.
  • Good communication skills and strong ability in problem resolution for patients and visitors.
  • Multi -Faceted with good IT skills.
